Format / version

Presentations will only be accepted in PPT, PPTX, PPS or PDF formats and need to be formatted in 4:3.

Presentations in PDF format must be saved as a full‐screen presentation.

Data storage

To upload a presentation onto our presentations network, please save it on an external memory device (e.g. USB‐stick, etc.)

Audio and video files

Please save all audio and video files used in your presentation in a separate folder. Please make sure that internal links to these files remain intact when copying the presentation and the audio and video files to your memory stick.

Handing in your presentation/s before the Conference

If you have the final version of your presentation ready before the start of the conference, you are welcome to send it to us by email. Please only do so if you are absolutely sure that you will not need to make any further changes to your presentation.

Please send your presentation (<10 MB) to If your presentation is bigger than 10 MB, please send us a cloud storage link to download.

Handing in presentations to the MediaCheck at the Conference venue

The MediaCheck is located near the registration desk. There is no file size limitation for your presentation.

Wednesday, 2 July 09.00 – 13.00 (for presentations on Wednesday afternoon)

14.00 – 18.00 (for presentations on Thursday morning)

Thursday, 3 July 09.00 – 13.00 (for presentations on Thursday afternoon)

14.00 – 18.00 (for presentations on Friday morning)

General information

We request you not to use any fonts which are not part of the standard Windows font package. Other fonts may not display correctly. Laptops are equipped with Microsoft Power Point 2007 and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please note that we cannot guarantee a correct display of your presentation if it does not follow the instructions above.

Presentation uploads to the Conference website

Conference presentations will be uploaded to the LIBER 2014 website on the same day as your presentation. If you wish to upload a different version of your presentation, you must hand in that version at MediaCheck as well. In this case, please tell LIBER 2014 staff at MediaCheck which version is to be projected and which version is to be uploaded. It is each speaker’s responsibility to ensure that the presentation uploaded to the web does not plagiarize other people’s work or infringe copyright.
